The black plastic grid is water permeable and will be covered with a dark pea gravel that will be easy to walk on. Continuation of new gravel path looking to the south toward Peirce Mil on the left and Peirce Barn on the right. The black grid will be covered with an attractive gravel.
View of steps up to Peirce Barn from the new leveled area in the "mill yard" in front of Peirce Mill. Note that the old driveway from Tilden Street that bisected the Mill and the Barn has been removed. View of steps down to Peirce Mill from the entrance of Peirce Barn. The new driveway is to the west (uphill) of the Barn and will include a drop-off for school buses. A wheelchair-accessible ramp has been provided from the bus area along the west and north sides of the Barn down to the Mill.
